TIME AND DAY: 12:00 PM - SATURDAY
ROOM: CINEMA

Linda Aronson is the first person to provide practical guidelines on how to write non-linear films (‘parallel narrative’) and is the only person to teach a course on these difficult forms. Linda’s theories are now studied by professionals and students all over the world.

In this seminar Linda will explain how parallel narrative films like PULP FICTION, 21 GRAMS, MEMENTO, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and THE HOURS, hitherto regarded as one-offs, actually conform to patterns based on splitting, multiplying and reassembling the standard three act structure, thus can be planned.
